Desert Broom (Sisyndite spartea)

Family Zygophyllaceae
An unusual looking bush which reminds me more of some type of grass than a shrub.
It grows to a height of about 1.5m and is a typical species plant of the arid regions of the Northern Cape.
The flowers grow in the fork of the branches and close at night.
